After spending over 30 years in the building industry & seeing so much timber ending up in landfill it became a passion project of ours to salvage as much hardwood as we could from our renovation projects and breath new life into these salvaged pieces of timber by crafting them into beautiful pieces of furniture & joinery for our building clients. This reignited Darrin’s love of building solid timber joinery (a trade he trained in back in New Zealand) and as such Revive Timber Designs was born.
Our Birth…
Although we now work with a mix of locally grown, sustainably sourced timbers as well as reclaimed and salvaged ones our commitment to reducing waste has not wavered and this shows in our Less than 1% waste ethos our custom timber furniture workshop operates by.
Our “scrap” timber is put aside in preparation to craft our PeeWee tables, Bath Stools, Pot Plant stands & serving boards that are available to purchase throughout the year from our showroom.

Based in the Noosa hinterland on the beautiful Sunshine Coast we combine contemporary furniture design with traditional & modern craftsmanship to create bespoke, custom timber furniture & joinery that will last a lifetime. We choose to predominately work with Australian timbers and every piece is handcrafted to the highest standard.
Our master craftsman, Darrin, has been working with timber for over 30 years in both Australia and New Zealand & is not only a qualified joiner but also a fully qualified QBCC licenced builder, a skill set that proves to be invaluable when problem solving some of our clients issues.
Our design team will work with you to create your very own bespoke, custom piece of solid timber furniture or joinery be it a dining table, entertainment unit, bed, vanity, bench tops or built in cabinetry they will assist you from concept to completion.
